Information we collect
We collect information that you choose to submit through our contact and educator-interest forms. This may include your name, email address, optional telephone number, location or time zone, teaching experience, subjects, curricula, availability and professional links.
Educators may provide an optional link to a CV or professional profile. The website does not upload or store the CV file itself. Information available through a submitted link may still contain personal data, so educators should share only a link they are comfortable providing for professional review.
How we use information
We use educator information to review interest in the network, contact educators, assess potential suitability for introductions and administer the introduction service. Other enquiries are used to respond to the person who contacted us and provide the requested service.
We normally process enquiry and educator-network information because it is necessary to respond to a request or take steps towards providing a service. We also have a legitimate interest in reviewing potential educators and operating a carefully selected professional network. Where we ask for a separate choice, such as permission to prepare a profile, that choice may be withdrawn at any time.
Sharing educator information
We do not publish or share an educator's identifiable professional information, CV link, name, photograph or current workplace with families without the educator's agreement. Where an educator has agreed, we may prepare a private or anonymised profile for a potentially suitable family. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary for safeguarding.
Storage and retention
Form submissions are delivered to the UK Elite Tutors business email account and are accessible only to people who need the information for network review and introductions. Educator-interest information will normally be retained for up to 12 months from the most recent meaningful contact and then reviewed or deleted. It may be deleted earlier on request, or retained longer where an educator remains active in the network or a legal, contractual or safeguarding reason applies.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to provide a copy of your information, correct it, withdraw your interest from the educator network, restrict its use or delete it where applicable. You may also withdraw permission for a private or anonymised profile at any time. Contact hello@ukelitetutors.co.uk.
Service providers and international access
We may use website hosting and business email providers to operate the service. Before public launch, the final providers, retention schedule, cookie use and any international data-transfer arrangements must be confirmed and this notice reviewed professionally.
